Generally speaking, all snowboarders agree on at least two things: The joy of a radiant sunset and the beauty of a properly massive method. This photo has both. Enjoy this shot of Swiss rider David Pitschi as he cranks one around as the sun goes down over Termas De Chillan. Way back in the wintry summer of 2000.
UPDATE: After we posted a preview of this PHOTO OF THE DAY to our Absinthe Films’ Instagram account, David Pitschi left this comment: “This photo keeps reminding me of that weightless second where everything seems to be at the right place at the right time. Thank you Brusti for capturing that moment forever because for sure I’ll never hit that note again.”
It is incredible to see that an image captured 24-years ago still has the power to stir such vivid memories and emotions in the rider. Pitschi, thank you, then and now. We could not have said this better ourselves.
